Aunt Betsy's Point of View

Authors note:
We had to write a different point of view of a different character from the story than the narrator(or main character). I wrote mine about the book, War Comes to Willy Freeman, and I'm doing it on how Willy aunt's diary and how she felt when Willy just showed up at her house and expected to be taken care of, because she had no where else to go.

Monday

Dear Diary,
Today my niece came all the way from Groton to my town. I feel so bad for her! Her mother went missing and her father died right in front of her. I don't care that she has no place to live, but if she stays any longer than a couple of days, we're gonna get kicked out. I wouldn't want me and my family to have no place to live, so I think I'm going to tell her she has to go tomorrow night. After I wash the dishes. Maybe that will be a good time.
Sincerely,
Betsy
Wednesday

Dear Diary,
Willy's gone! If her mother ever comes back she's going to kill me! She loved that girl so dearly, and now she's gone. All because of me. I should've kept track of her. I should've kept her safe when I could've. What if she went off in the Jolly Boat? That girl knows there's still soldiers around. She's gonna get herself killed! What have I done!!!???!
Sincerely,
Betsy
