Autumn
Autumn is a wonderful time of year. The leaves are changing, the wind is blowing, and it’s almost time for Halloween! That’s my third favorite time of the year! I can taste the candy now. Sweet, sour, and sugary. The way rocks crunch below my feet, while walking up the hills, trick or treating. The weight of all the candy I carry, in a pillow case, on my back. All the little kids dressed as batman, or Cinderella. Who wouldn’t be excited for Halloween?

Nice word choice in your description! I can hear the crunching sound of walking around in the fall, and you remind me of my own days of trick-or-treating by describing the taste of candy. This is exactly what the purpose of descriptive writing is: helping the reader to imagine himself/herself in the setting you have created. Good job!
